this is true!! i went to a tanning place and the lady that worked there told me about a woman who was going from tanning place to tanning place b/c each place would only let her stay in the tanning bed for 20 minutes so after she would leave one she'd go to another. and she kept doing this and a couple of months later she died from cancer and her internal organs were cooked! lemonademe  |

okay to clear this up for ya, since it seems to be confusing...if you read what i wrote i said this was true, and it is. but this legend may not be true but the content is true. some women go from tanning beds to tanning beds and months later they have cancer or they have cooked there insides and they have died. i know this for fact b/c i know a lady who works at a tanning saloon and she has told me this stories of women she knew that did this and died. lemonademe |

if she said it is true how could you argue? you don't know that person enough to know what happens in her life.Unless you live w/ her.if you carfully read over her comment she said SHE talked to a lady who knew someone who did this. For all you know the lady she was talking about could have been her sister or someone close to her.you don't know so you shouldn't take gusses. |

No,this story is a urban ledgand...thus the reason it's in the urban ledgand section..No the regular use will not cause the same outcome..If you use the tanning bed properly you'll have a nice tan in no time at all..The only way it would do that is if you used it improperly...Besides,it's a urban ledgand..
