She was married to R. Cummings and had a son Ronnie Lynn Cummings Jr. in August 1966. She had an older brother by the name of Lloyd Dunn and 2 sisters Mary Dunn and June (Cricket) Dunn. They were raised in the San Diego area and are beleived to be living in the Los Angeles area. Bonita had a nickname of Bunnie or Bonnie.
