It was the summer of 1991, and my bestfriend Tracy and I were walking around the trailor court at which we lived in in Johnstown PA. As we were walking down the road with sun on our faces and the tar on the road sticking to our shoes, Tracey out of the blue told me she saw Brian. I looked at her like she was one of those bag ladies that sit in the park and feed pigions all day. I'm sure you would have the same reaction, being that Brian was ran over by a bus two years before. He was just seven years old on that rainy May day. Tracey and I were both friends with him, and it took a long time for mostly Tracey to recover from his death. Tracey, told me she was not lying and to prove it she had me stay the night at her house. Well it was around 10:30pm and my 10 year old eyes were starting to close as were Tracey's 9 year old eyes. As I layed my head on my pillow, I got the sudden feeling that I was being watched. Now mind you Tracey's family is already in bed. Well I looked straight in front me to find Brian standing over me!!! I tried to scream but couldn't, but as soon as Brian was there he was gone. Tracey looked at me and told me she was no lier. I didn't really pay her mind, because I was too busy trying to figure out if what I seen was real. Brian did not look like those tv ghosts, matter of fact he looked as he did in life, except transparent and with a dull white light around him. Tracey and I do not talk about what we saw, even though it was real, and we both haven't seen him again. But you can rest assure that if we do, we'll be ready. How it changed my life:I never believed in ghosts before, because of what you see on tv isn't real. But now I do, and I will never pass judgement on anyone again, even if they say they saw the boogie man.
