Last year my sister and I were watching a movie late one night in our base-ment. We heard this unusual sound coming from upstairs, but we thought
nothing of it, so we just continued watching our movie. Then a few minutes
later the strange sound came back but was much louder. Then all of a sudd-
en we heard this woman screaming it just kept getting louder and louder.
The lights in the house started to go on and off, the tv just turned off,
and the screaming just kept getting louder and louder. My sister was
completely petrified and couldn't move a muscle. I was just
hoping whatever it was would just stop. It seemed to go on forever, but
only lasted a few minutes. Then the doorbell started to ring and that's
when the screaming stopped. It was our neighbour he heard the
screaming and came over to see what was going on. Our parents were gone
to a wedding in a another province, so we called them to ask them if they
had experienced that before. We couldn't get a hold of them, but my neigh-
bour knew who had lived there a year before us. He called them and asked
them what it was and they said that they would hear strange noises now and
then but thought nothing of it. A few days later my neighbor was talking
to another and told her what had happened. And she told him what it was.
Many years ago a woman named Linda lived in our house. That night was the
anniversary of the day she lost her baby and killed herself in the room
right above the basement. We can hear her sobbing every now and then and
we know who it is, now! Our house is for sale now and we can't wait to
get out of this place!!!
