You have a point there. But I believe there are ways to test the product without using animals or people. And actually if it is absolutely necassary I'd rather use animals for tests then people. A blind dog isn't as hard to care for as a blind person. But like I said I don't think they need animals to test most or all cosmetic products. Happy Heathen |

Well you got a point there too.But I guess I just have too much of a soft heart for animals it's not a good thing.You know...Just the thaught of a dog going blind because of cosmetic testings makes me angry and sad.But a blind dog IS more easy to take care of....But it also breaks my heart.IS there a way they can use neither?Cause that would be so good >>>Replica |

I dont believe they should test cosmetics on animals....but I believe in testing animals for medical purposes....If its going to save a human I say go for it...  |

it's rather sickening! and i personally think it should be stopped!! did you hear about a rabbit that had to be tested with perfume? well they sprayed perfume in it's eyes to see how long it would burn and stuff like that. it makes me wanna vomit! it shouldn't be done, it's inhumane!! lemonademe  |

I believe that most of the cosmetics ingrediants they use are known well enough that all they have to worry about is a minor rash or something similer. So they don't actually hurt the test subjects and can just use a human volunteer safely, or use an animal without seriously hurting them. But like I said I don't like seriously maiming or killing an animal just to test a new lipstick. Happy Heathen |

I believe that the testing of meeicines and surgical procedures on animals is justified. However I do not beliebe in allowing and animal to suffer simply becase we are vain and want cosmetics and hair care accesorries. |
