Hiya Mom *hugs* well I admit I don't read the bible very often so i couldn't really say what my favorite verse is. But my favorite inspirational quote is "Never frown because you never know who is falling in love with your smile" I just think that is so beautiful. take care :}  |

Hello White Dove hope all is well. As for my favorite - I will always remember the story of Ruth - "..,.where ever thous goest, I will go thy people shall be my people, etc.," The one uplifting jewel I find to be a constant in my life is, "Be not afraid, for I am with you through all the days of your life." Psalm 91...the whole thing. Let's see how much I can remember without looking..... "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of my Lord, He is my refuge an fortress, my God...in Him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. He will cover thee with His feathers and under his wings shalt thou trust. His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night nor the arrow that flieth by day. Nor the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand..but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the most high God which is my fortress thy refuge, there shall no harm come to thee,neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For, He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. They shalt bear thee up in their hands lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. That may not be word for word....but it's close, and it's hidden in my heart. I love every word of it.  |

I really like this because individual become angry when the Bible is quoted and become angry at the person when it is not the individual they should be angry with, they are doing what they are being asked to do............ 1Thess 2:4 We speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts. Favorite verse would be...it takes more energy to be angry and unhappy that it does to smile and be happy. Well its not my favorite, but I like it...  |

Psalm 23! I think most people are familiar with that one. It begins, "My Lord is my sheperd, I shall not be afraid..." and a famous verse from this poem in Psalm 23 is "even though I walk throught the valley shadow of death, I fear no evil for your rod and staff will comfort me." Every time I lose faith or feel hopeless, I recite this poem. Love  |
