well, To be honest, it really doesn't much matter to me. A woman coul be bald, and still be the sexiest woman on earth. You see, it really shouln't matter. If your personality shines through, then it really doesn't matter if you have a water mellon on your head. What makes you happy? That's the question that you should be asking. I know for a fact that the majority of the men out there love women with long hair...I on the other hand, don't care if a woman has short hair , long hair, or no hair at all. It's all on how you carry yourself.  |

That is soooo SHALLOW! It is not the length of hair that really attracts a guy. It may at first glance, but after that it is the Total package. IF a girl has long hair, and the rest of her looks like a dog, or she doesnt have clean or well groomed hair, it will not matter at all what the length is. I think hair styles should be suited to the person. If a tall, skinny , or tom boyish girl cuts her hair short, it may emphasize those traits, or if a short, heavy set, pudgy girl has long hair hanging down her back, that will just accentuate the problems. There are always exceptions, but for the most part, one should go with what pleases THEMSELVES, and not rely on others to make the final decision. OF course, most guys SAY...I said: SAY.......that that is what they prefer, but in reality, they are just thinking about the "ideal" or that "centerfold" picture, image, in their mind. NOT exactly thinking or taking the time or REALLY giving much thought to YOUR question. |

All right, Jedi!!! I have to ask...why do you care what a guy likes best? Isn't it YOUR hair? How do YOU like to wear it? If you are confident about who you are...hair shouldn't (and won't) be an issue. (BTW...I'm not a guy and I wear my hair all ways, I grow it out only to cut it off again, depends on my mood when I sit in that chair!) Good luck.... hope you work this one out!   |

Yo Hippy, Love the name by the way. Firstly, don't go cutting your because people want you to (though I realise that you were just asking a question). I think is all about confidence...if you are confident with long hair (or short hair)...thats what will make it attractive to a guy. I have seen long haired woman that sort of hide their hair, when they should just show it off and be proud of it. But if you want my opinion as a guy...short hair just gets me going big time. But if you want to be more attractive on the outside too (I'm a guy by the way), then keep your hair long! In my own personal taste, long hair is always sooo much more attractive than short hair, and most guys I know also agree with that. I often wonder why some girls want to cut their hair really short - all it's doing is making them that much less attractive at first glance. And yes, this aspect of it is shallow, but it usually is the first physical impressions that get people initially interested. |

..I'll speak for my sons on this one...my oldest is married and when he first married Brenda, her hair was down to her waist, after the first week of marriage, she cut it really short...my son had a fit!! Its back to her waist again and I don't think she'll cut it she said she didn't know it meant that much to him!! Now, my youngest son loves the short, flippy, sassy look...so he says!! But either way they both say the difference between an ugly girl and a pretty one is that one fixes up and the other doesn't...my daughter-in-law is on the heavy side and my youngest son likes the hour-glass figure but hey...he's only seventeen!!lol...maryjane |
