I saw it too!!!!! Before I started watching, I promised myself I would look for it and see it. But I wasn't even thinking about it when I spotted it. I even remember the part they were singing when it showed it. They were singing "The wonderful Wizard of Oz" and on "Oz", that's when I saw it. |

Its similar to the movie " 3men and a baby" when you see the ghost of a little boy in the window. I never believed it until i saw the movie and looked for it ~ and believed me...its there!! Message me if you want to know which part:) *SunAngel* |

yes it is absolutely true that there is a man hanging from the stage rafters in the movie the Wizard of Oz. It is in the part of the movie that you stated. It was one of the actors that played a munchkin. If you get a digitally remastered version it is much harder to see because they hae " digitally remastered" that part but you can still see it. So look for it in an old copy |

it does look convincing but surely someone dangling on the end of a rope would rock to and fro for sometime, the subject however does not, it just fly`s foward from the tree and back, when it returns to the tree, it stops swaying....however the scene i saw it on is after they move out after meeting the tin man? is your scene when they meet the lime cuz i haven`t seen that bit yet |

sorry to burst your bubble but this is fake.i've seen photos of this "mysterious man" hanging himself.but sorry,it is just a tropical bird! when they were making this part of the movie, the director thought it was a good idea to order a load of exotic birds to use in the film.so he did,and so what you see and think is a hung man's legs and feet,is actually the neck of the tropical bird. *CC* |

There is definatly a guy who hangs himself in that movie! I've seen it several times and every time I watch it I see the guy! My theory is that he's the munchkin who got fired for being too tall! |

I thought it was where the Tin man was dancing. I did see a guy hang himself, though. I remember seeing it when I was about thirteen and everytime I closed my eyes, all I could see was that dark figure. Oh, I had nightmares about it for days! "shivers" |
