Urban legends are just that legends. Nobody knowes if they really happened or not but everyone talks about them, that's how they became a legend..

Some legends have a grain of truth, but you'd be surprised how old that grain is...some of the minor basi (is that the plural of basis?) of popular ULs today have been around for hundreds of years. Anyways, it's very rare to find one person a legend really happened to, and in many cases where they do find somebody, usually it happened to them because somebody heard the legend and acted it out in their own way. sometimes they are made up soemtimes based on an actual event..either way the stories evolve into the legend that we hear today.  |

urban legends are just what really happened to somebody...but turned around and added with some detail. like if someone gets murdered, there are stories flying around like, "that person got his/her blood drank by a notorious vampire. the vampire still lives 2day" but maybe what really happened was that the person was stabbed a gangster and bled 2 death b4 help could come. see, urban legends have very little truth 2 them...that's why they're urban legends...no one knows the truth |
