Catholic School Girl confessions~GUYS part1~jannika

I was 14 and my walls were hidden underneath pictures of Leonardo Dicaprio and the Backstreet Boys. I had no experience with guys in the real world whatesoever. I wanted a boyfriend, but i wasn't really sure why. There were several guys in school i thought were hot, but my fantasys were still filled with the rich and famous. That is untill I tried out for the spring musical. I had always loved to act and was estatic when i got a call back, however, despite my part that was large for a freshman and the award we were nominated for, the thing i remember most, was the guys i saw at practices.

The two male leads were seniors, who untill the first practice i had never seen before. My friend Stacey pointed out Mark to me and Heather noticed Mitchell. We litterly swooned when they came near. We loved going to practices and had all their lines memorized. We called ourselves the M&M admiration society. Our conversations suddenly stopped being about last nights episode of Dawsons creek but about how somone had heard one of them sneeze the other day. Or how we were sure that they had smiled at us.

We were obbessed, completly, crazily obbessed. When Mitchell got a girlfriend around April of that year, we all spent many hours glaring at her. The sad thing is, that like i said i before i had no experience with guys, none of us did, so we never spoke to them, never said "hi", never flirted, we just kinda stared, as though they were gods and not 18 year old guys.

In June they graduated and we wern't nearly as upset as you would think, we just kinda stopped caring one day, for no real reason. Now looking back, i think we turned them into our own local versions of the guys on our walls. We thought they were unabtainable but we never even tried to get them. They were a dream and a fantasy, and although i'me quite sure they don't remember me, i will always remember them.
