I understand exactly what you are trying to say :) My belief is for the most part pretty parallel to that. I think humans lost the power to see and feel things "beyond the nose in front of their faces" beacue it has laregly been shunned by society. Parents discourage their children from speaking to "imaginary friends" that may very well be spirits, and eventually they stop completely. you are told that certain things dont exist or that people can't speak telepathicly, or have visions, or whatever, since you're a child...and so eventually, you stop believing and thngs stop happening. If you don't believe in something, alot of times, you don't see it and when you hear about it from others, you think they are crazy or lying. I think you're right that it would take generations to get the "old powers" back. and it would ahve to start with some very open-minded parents who wncouraged their childrens "flights of fancy"...and it might also include taking the child out of the school system (because regardles of what you teach, they'll do things their way)...and the rest of the family...and their friends...It would be incredibly difficult to do....  |
