Auras can be seen physically, or sensed psychically. One way to see someone's aura is to have the subject (or object) stand in front of a white background. If you look at the person for a minute you will see the electromagnetic (em) energies of the person--as sort of wavy lines of energies --kind of like in the movies when an airplane takes off and you see those wavy lines. If you watch the energies for a few seconds and trust your instincts --you will see-- or sense a color frequency--maybe 2 or 3 colors--in the aura. Wtch it a few minutes as then try to see how far out you can watch it go. Auras are said to extend far from the body. I have heard many version of how far they actually extend. Some say the female aura extends farther than the male. One teacher once told me that a female's aura can come out 18 feet and is three different colors at the same time. This must refer to a blending of your auric field from more than just your physical body. For example--if you are really angry your aura will be red. But your spiritual boy can be white at the time placing both colors in your auric field. Remember that auras change all the time according to the person's mood and environment. What you really want to determine when looking at someone's aura are breaks or changes in the aura. This will reflect something about the physical condition of the person you are observing and where their problem is at the moment. A headache will appear as a hole or break in the auric field near somewhere near the head area. If you are a healer you can use your hands in a slow sweeping motion over the part of the aura where the energy (chi) does not appear to flow properly for you. As you move your hands across the person's aura both of you should experience some sort of change in the energy flow. You do not touch the person--just the auric field of that person. (This healing technique is know as Therapeutic Touch). Now Katsho, the reason a person may not see an aura covering another person is that you might be tuned into a one defined body chakra level. Which means you are really using this chakra to focus into a lower vibration as an oblect rather then a person that has many color to their aura. You can work on this tho by opening up the eye chakras. I will make another post about the chakras.
