Actually you are quit right.When God said to Christ in Gen."let's make man in our image",He at that time allowed fragments of His very own Spirit to be implanted in us.This gave us the ability to have the potentual to become Christ-like,perfect in character and personality.Christ,Himself gave us the mandate-"Be you perfect as I am perfect".He also said "You shall become Kings and Priest,in the Kingdom of God.So from what I have learned from my many years of studies,is that we are the children of God and we will just as Christ did for us,someday become a Christ on a new planet,and teach the creatures of that planet about Our Father. |
