I don't really want a tag anymore. I was an author here under a different alias, and I saw what some ppl were like. Now I just post for me, and a tag isn't worth anything to me. I just like to write to let ppl read it. This is just a good way to get peoples responces to it. -J.D.  |

The criteria for a tag is not centered around post, but lenght of time and comments made to others postings, visits to site, etc.... not the amount of posts you have submitted in the story catagories  |

how many replies is a criteria, not how many stories you yourself post. there are also many other things that the admins look at before giving an author their tag. I love my tag, but did i do all the things I have to get it, no:) it is just something pretty and recognizable that the admins were great enough to give. i would have stayed had I not recieved one:) I come for the peeps and the site itself:) i can make my own tag on paper:)LOL if it is that important:)  |

Thanks J.D, Breezey, cblossom.....I had heard people say previously that 50 posts and 200 replies were a general guide to requesting a tag. I see now that is incorrect....oops. Maybe i will cancel this site suggestion :-) Jailbird  |

On a slightly different note, but still on the topic of tags, I don't think people should post stories about their tags. If a person wants to show off his/her tag, s/he should go to the chat room. |

That might work..I haven't been here long enough to get my tag, but I will soon...Some new people don't look at the criteria to get a tag, I know I didn't when I first signed up..Until someone posted the info on how you got them, I never knew..I just liked the site tag or no tag..Trouble :)  |

I ony come on here to read debate discussions some i don't even reply to. I am no hurry to get a tag and plus I have deleted two of the topics i wrote about , now i only have i think maybe 2 stories out since November so as for as the tag....it's really just a thing. I come on here because it's intresting and plus i met a wonderful friend on here also. DINA  |

I for one would do away with the whole process.Sure they are 'cute' and they are status, but what you have to go through, 2 months and so many comments later, bingo, you get something very artistic instead of your name. I would rather know a person by name that what they fancy themselves as being seen by others.  |

I think the eligibility for a tag is fine. I mean i ain't in no hurry for a tag, i've been here for over 2 months and i'm not even done replying to 200 stories, but it's worth the wait. There is so much more to USM then a tag. And it's very annoying to read stories about people nagging to get their tag. Chill people, you will get one sooner or later.  |
