...Lizzie Borden committed this slaughter in 1892. Another good reason for parents to stay on good terms with their kids. |

It's pretty interesting to read about stuff like that. Well, to me anyways. I read about Lizzie Borden at crimelibrary.com, and a bunch of other famous serial killers' storiex. It can get pretty gross and make me feel ill...but something about it is compelling. I just want to know what makes these people tick. How could they do what they do. Just creepy. |

I love this story!! All I can say is that Miss Lizzy was both intelligent and a good con artist. Think of all the planning that had to go into her actions for her to have gotten away with such a horrible crime....Thumb |

This story could use a little updating. Lizzie Borden wasn't alive in 1984. I think it was around 1884. |

Lizzie never DID earn the "Daughter of the Year" award.
"Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her mother 40 whacks. When she had seen what she had done, she gave her father 41"
On a documentary on some random channel, it said she burned the axe and her bloody dress in the fireplace. |

OK (A) Lizzie was never convicted of the crime, because (B) their just wasn't enough evidence. (C) Lizzie loved her father but she wasn't very fond of Abby her stepmother. The murders happened in 1892. Both Lizzie and her sister Emma never married. Years later Lizzie had an affire with an actress by the name of Nance O'Neil. (D) The heads were never "chopped off" the stepmother recieved 18 blows to the back of the skull, neck, and one between the shoulder blades. The father was hacked 11 times to the face. One eye had been scliced in half and his nose was loped off. Both Lizzie and her sister were going to get none of their fathers money because he was going to leave it all to Abby. Also their was a letter of confession sent to Hosea Knowlton the prosecuter, by Andrew Bordan's illigidimet son, William Bordan. There are many storys all you have to do is decided "what really happened?" NightRyder85 |

The Murder happened on August 4, 1892. A play in New York based on her later life with her sister and a stage actress by the name of Nance O'Neil was performed at the Producer's Club. Awesome! It was called LIZBETH OF MAPLECROFT. Elizabeth Montgomery of BEWITCHED was in the tv movie back in the seventies. |

Lizzie Borden is one of the cases that will NEVER be truly Solved.. I have read everything I could get my hands on about it... I had a report to do for school and serial killers caught my eye, but I wanted to investigate the Lzzie Borden case. In my opinoin.. she and her sister was in on it BUT there really is NO proof and prolly never will be since everyone involved has long since been dead for over 150 years. |
