I would have to agree with you, for every natrual man there is a physical body, an energy source and a spiritual body (Body,Spirit,Mind) cloning is unnatrual, perhaps the same thing that happened to Sephiroth on final fantasy 7 would happen in life if clonign was sucessfull,... hmm maybe who knows! -- freaky though what happened on final fantasy 7, Sephiroth was in a way he as a clone.. - |

I believe each body would have a seperate and new soul. That is because the new body would not be tainted (for lack of a better word) with the experiences that the old body had so it naturally would not be the same soul, it would have to grow on it's new, different experiences and as we all know everyone is different and views things different and one SMALL change in life could make a drasticly different outcome. |

Hmm..Jesus Freak, that posses alot of problems....YES I believe it is playing god and it is wrong..but we can't stop people..I dun think the people would have a spiritul body, but then again it depends if you believe in fate or not, cause if you do, god planned this and that means that he knew this would happen..if you don't then I have no explaination..sorry..lol.interesting topic though! |

I believe the artifical birth is going to speed up the process of the dooms day. As more souls are going to have more bodies to enter in, the more time will allow the End of Time to approach faster. |

thats spooky, equp your materia, get on your bangles and grab your buster sword, this same thing happened on Final Fantasy 7 (yes i like to repeat myself) a guy named Sephiroth was artifually made thru a complicated cloning which isnt really cloning, they he became an enraged madman.. he nearly destoryed the world, he lived without a soul..the end was near!! then to make matters worse a mass producing company took over the world, and controlled everything, they produced everything making all the other companys go outta business, this may happen in life with Cloning, and maybe Microsoft - |

I agree I think it is unnatural and I don't like it..But then I remember the lamb that they cloned, and as I looked at a picture of it I looked at the eyes, they were not eyes that looked empty, but eyes that when you looked into them you saw tenderness. Is this not God?~ |

All cloning is, is the combining of DNA to form a fertilized egg. Its the same as ivitro-fertilization. When that procedure came out, it was referred to as test-tube babies and mothers who had this done were ostrazied. Now it is a common practice. When it came out people feared we were creating soulless monsters and dabbeling in Gods will. They were wrong. These babies born through help are just as precious people as those born through natural methods. Eventually the views on cloning will change when people have a greater understanding. But to answer your question, if every person on earth has a soul, so will these. |

Why is it that when something comes along that we fully don't understand do we simply say it is bad. That to me is like saying that God gave us no brains to better ourselves with.In fact he gave us all intelligence.A hypothetical qeustion,Who are we to say that this is not his will? |

cloning is so wrong. I think that we sometimes bring on our own demise. This is wrong and I dont know why anyone would condone this. I cant believe that this is happening. |

I have no idea, but that has been bothering me too. If clones don´t have souls, they will be like zombies. I don´t like the idea of cloning. GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Hi Jesus Freak. Good question and I understand Your concern as well. Though my beliefs are far different from Yours I will answer this from the perspective of a Christian to help understand what I am suggesting. The soul which You believe exist in every human being would occer at some time when the sperm enters the egg. In cloning the sperm and egg are introduced to each other under exacting conditions and unite to form an embryo. I think that Your god would have seen this cloning eventuality and allowed for it. He would not punish cloned people for something that other men did to bring about thier life. I think it is written in the bible that " The life is in the blood" To me that would be the DNA. So I think that a cloned human would have a soul. It isnt the cloned human we should fear but ourselves who would be treat the poor clone like something less than human and a creature to be exploited. It is ourselves that should be frowned upon and not the poor cloned being. I hope this gives You a different view on this issue. Bye for now. |

Hey I think that is really good question! I think there will ever be an answer for that for me unless I meet a human clone and get know them or if when I die I asked God myself!

maybe, but then what makes it unique, birdfeeder? then what is so unique about it?? whats all this mumbo jumbo and duplicating a person?? is that all false information or what???? plus the clones may be souless, but think they could be brainless? - |

Huma, everyone will still be unique. You are more of a person than just a strand of DNA. Two brothers from the same parents have the same chromosones being placed together and they are unique. Identical twins, from the same sperm and egg, differ in personalities. But since they are from the same according to everyones argument, wouldn't they be sharing a soul? They have to have a brain, just like almost all live births. These babies will be born the same as all others. All it is, is combining DNA ti do invitrofertilization. It will not be where you hand someone the blood of a love one, put it in a machine and bake, and outcomes a new person, exactly the same. |
