I am trying to reunite an 11 yr.boy with his birth father and would like all the help I can get. I am a foster parent and this boy was my son for 26 months.This boy always talked about his real dad,who moved to Phoenix Arizona in1997.This was his fathers hometown,however D.J.which stands for Donald Eugene Marin Junior,never went to Az.Donald is in foster care still and his father is unaware.His father thinks that DJ is with his birth mother.In September of 1999 Children and youth removed DJ from his mothers home because his mother had serious problems to take care of and never did.DJ told me that his mom and dad were never married and they broke up.DJ said his dad had a wife and daughter.I don't know the wifes name but DJ's stepsisters name is Serina and probably still lives with her mother in Arizona or Calif. DJ told me that his dad went back to Az.in 1997 and that his dad wanted to take DJ but his mom said no.His dad used to send gifts and letters to his son and tried to keep in touch with his son but mom made dad out to be the bad dad.Mom never let DJ see the letters and the gifts.So of course poor DJ couldn't respond to his fathers letters and attempts to keep in touch with his only son.Now this poor man has no idea what has happened to his sons life.Donald SR.is about 50 years old so I am told and was born on or about Sept 4.DJ said the 4th I have a hard time with that because that is my birthdate. Donald may be 47 also.Donald is a carpenter,and an excellant cabinet maker.He had his own wood shop and all the tools.Children and youth told DJ that they just can't find his dad.They told him that 2 years ago and I am not happy with that,I feel it is easier to let him in foster care than to seek his father. I have developed this opinion because recently from the internet phonebook sources ,I got an address and phone # except that the phone # doesn't work! I'll bet if children and youth did their job properly that phone # that I found would of worked in the last 2 years sometime.I don't believe that the internet phone book #'s aren't updated at least once every year.OK, more information DJ said that his father was adopted by a sweet lady he called aunt bea . Beaulah was her name. Mysteriously enough when I put her name in the people search ,it came up listed to the same address as Donalds in Phoenix Az.with the same phone no. This means DJ's dad has been living with his mother at 2140 W Thunderbird Rd Apt, Phoenix Az.TO make that clear DJ's dad has been living with DJ's grandmother.The lady who adopted Donald SR.I live in pennsylvania and I can't check this out,perhaps someone in Phoenix would.This boy really needs to be with his dad.I can only tell you that DJ has blond hair and his mom has brown hair so to assume his dad has blound hair should be right.In1997 Donald moved from10872 York Rd.Cockeysville,Md.21030.To Az. Perhaps Donald is still living there and has an unlisted phone no. Why we are looking for them:To make him aware of his sons plea to see his father.
