To most of the people at this site, this is a "second home" in the cyber world. You can spill your guts and the people cant blab or anything. I disagree... I believe there is gray areas there, at least for me.
I hope I don't HATE ANYONE though. I don't think I do. I like people to different degrees here though. I certainly have my favorites and least favorites. I think it's great that we aren't able to judge
one another by anything more than the words we can put together. We don't have to worry about the prejudices we normally deal with.

Well I've been pretty accepting of people most of my
life. I don't care about how they look, dress, or even
spell. I THINK I can see beyond those things. I hope so.
I've always tried to and have ended up with some of the
greatest friends anyone could ever have. Most people would
not be friends with those who I am friends with because they
aren't perfect acting or looking but I don't care. I love them
and they are FAR more loyal to me than anyone else's friends I know

Hiya Pixie...I have lots of gray matter...uh I mean area. I do give a certain amount of leeway for this being a cyber world and words not coming across as intended. I gotta say...I have always thought you were pretty great. You have your thoughts and beliefs and as far as I have seen are always willing and open to debate them....so I see no problem with that in you whatsoever. It does seem that there are some who just like to stir up negativity in others...just to get a reaction or just because they feed off of it...but I don't hate them. I just see it as an attempt to feel better about something negative in their own lives...which actually doesn't work...but it is a way of learning...and hopefully they are on a path that will lead them to learning how to be more open minded and find a way to let out their anger without actually having to attack other's beliefs or opinions. I am with dizzy on this one...(try not to faint dizzy) I beleive there is a huge grey in the way people feel about others in cyber world. Its no different than real life in that matter. I really like a few people I have met here..I have butted heads with a few and I have spoken with a few briefly. All the brief contacts or the ones who I have seen one post from are in the grey area. I think there are about 10 people on the sight that aren't in that area. As far as this not being "real" life, I disagree. It is far from my only life but the computer is a part of my life and this sight is a fun past time for me while at work. The stories are from real people and are answered by real people, whats not realistic about that?  |
