I'm married and I have a child. I don't know how it began or when it began but I have it! Sometimes I don't have any reason to be depressed, but I feel like killing myself. When I get like this I just think of the most important thing to me...my little girl. Before she was born it was a lot harder to keep from killing myself. I actually tried once. Do you want to know what helped me....God. His strength and love got me through it. A couple of times I actually went to a councelor, but she didn't help. It kind of made it worse because all of my deep seeded problems came out. I know it's hard to have strength when your depressed because the pain is so great and you just want to get rid of it. But, when you feel like this think of your family, your strength, the most important thing to you. Can you imagine being without them? I'm not saying your depression will go away. I still have depression, but maybe it will help. I don't believe depression ever goes away. Thank you for listening to me. I hope I helped someone. God bless!
