I post alot of wild conspiracy theories, and like to read them too. I don't believe the vast majority of them.I like to read and post them because it is fun to imagine and it gives others something to think about also.To me it's like Science Fiction, but w/ a bit of suspense and curiosity to it.Some of them are just funny.-TessekTheQuarren |

I believe a couple of the conspiracy theorys, but not many-- who's to say they aren't all true? |

Greetings, TessekTheQuarren. I see that your attitude about CTs is the same as mine. I don't know why it should bother me so much, that some people are so gullible, as to believe any old CT that comes along literally and uncritically. Of course this might be a misperception on my part. Maybe I am the paranoid one. AAAAGGGHHHH! I appreciate hearing from you. |

They are interesting and some are I might speculate are true, but, I hate to see paranoria take over. I have known some patients suffering from extreme paranoria, to the point of putting toothpaste in light sockets because of mini cams, and others who won't watch television because they think they are being watched, usually those people end up in psych wards. |

Yes, I sure agree. Paranoiacs have been halucinating up these sorts of things forever. That's one of the thing that bothers me. Most of the other people, I think, just find them kind of fun, and don't really believe in them. Of course a few CTs do have some intriguing possibilities of being more or less true. |

Hiya, TC, a genuine conspiracy would probably never be uncovered as such. I do not believe Lee Harvy Oswald assassinated Kennedy *I lived in Dallas at the time* although I do not know who conspired to do so. ... Other conspiracies are too farfetched to give much credence to, so I generally ignore them. ... The only true conspiracy *IMO* is the conspiracy of the powerful *or wannabes* to control others and their machinations to do so. ... Those actions may be called conspiracies, but I do not believe that the intent is malicious, it is merely to gain power at the expense of others not so inclined. ... BUT, remember, just because you are paranoid, does NOT mean that "they" are NOT out to get you... *smile*... May peace and harmony be forever yours. /s/ J.T. |

Ya Know something peeps? I have come to the conclusion that my disdain/fascination with CTs lies in the fact that I have a definate paranoid side to my psyche. I've known it all along. I find them very interesting but distressing at the same time. Yes I am slighly para.....AAAAAGGGGGGHHH! *seeks refuge under computer table*. |

TC, I followed your web site to an article on Paranormal Mysteries to a site about "mothman", have you read that? Actually it has to do with the collapse of The Silver Bridge in Parkersburg, W Va, long time ago and even tho I was real young,I remember some of the news stories in our local paper. Later we moved north and I never heard anything else till now. Makes me think... |

Hi, Shadow Ghost. Yes, I'm quite familiar with Mothman. I read a book once called "The Mothman Prophecies" (?) by John Keel. I can even remember reading accounts of the Mothman phenomenon right after it happened, thanks to reading about it in FATE magazine, in the mid sixties. I think Mothman is another interdimensional entity, similar to the Chupacabra etc. I remember there was a bridge accross a river between, I think it was southern Illinois & Kentucky, which collapsed & somehow Mothman was suspected. |

I belive in conspiracy theories! There are really gov cover-ups and other stuff the public has no clue about. *Sugar Plum* |

whatever! There is some conspiracies out there...but frankly like 80% of the ones on this site are PUUUUUUUUUUUUURE bull Sh*T! I hate them! They are a waste of time and space and people that have nothing more than second hand junk and not funny cr@p should just keep it to themselves. But there really is conspiracies out there, some people happen to know this to be true...and have not been exposed to societies need for them and stuff...and do know this stuff on their own. Just dont think that its all bogus (spelling) |

I think that some folks love to sit around thinking up CTs, and then propagatining them. Maybe that's my own CT. |

I'm a little late on this discussion but . . . my thought is that many of these conspiracy theories are created and perpetuated by the media. It gives them a never-ending source of fodder for programs, news reports, etc. 20 years from now, they'll still be producing shows on the Kennedy Assasination, Lunar Conspiracy, etc. And I wouldn't be surprised if new evidence continues to pop up along the way. It grabs people's attention and produces a lot of advertising dollars, so they'll just keep the conspiracies coming . . . |

That'
s an interesting idea, anonymous. That's a Conspiracy Theory in itself. My personal favorite CT is "Magestic 12" it even includes the JFK assasination (a secret service man in Kennedy's car did it)....and....dig this....Men have colonized the moon as well as MARS!!!...since way back in the '50s. It's great science fiction. |

It is great science fiction. . . Think of all the money that the media has made off the Kennedy Assasination theories alone. Books, movies, news stories, magazine articles, documentaries, websites . . . the list goes on and on. And it will continue. Hmmm . . . maybe I should write a book about it! :) |
