I`m back again for those of you that have read the other tales and are still interested I Think you. This tale one of many takes place in July. I remember because it was so hot and we didn`t have air in the home yet so the windows were open to give us some relief. This tale involves Karen and her roomate. There were three of us on duty now because of all the problems no one wanted to work the night shift with just two on. We had just bathed the ,I called them girls even though they were older than I was at the time. I was standing in the doorway to their room talking to the other two while they put the two women to bed. Like I said the windows were open and it was very hot we were just chatting when the girls began to laugh and bite their hands we tried to make them stop and they began to laugh more manically and the beds began to walk to the center of the room. This were not little women 140 to 160 lbs and the beds just moved on carpted floors. They did not bounce or jump,but one side would rock and then the other untill both met at the same time. The laughing stopped everything grew quiet deathly silent. We of course were just standing there with or mouths hanging open, when from 0utside the window we hear this sw000shing sound. It sounded like huge wings flapping. The only thing I can think of that sounded close was the sound of the wings in the movie the Gargoyle.I can see all saying hey we got another nut case here!!! Funny thing was we all three said the same thing at the same time. We were sitting on about three acres of ground with nearest neighbor being about half a mile away. There was a swamp to the back of the house. The largest birds we had in the are were owls and cranes so I don`t know what is was and at the time was not going out to find out.
