My heart, it wept in sorrow, and my soul, it ached with pain. I stood and felt the storm breeze on me, and smelt the sweetness of the dew, I wasted time caught up inside when I could have been in it with you. I heard the distant thunder, as the storm, it rolled away. And the clouds, they all gave way to another sunny day. I felt a tear well up in my eye and I bowed my head in shame. All I could help but feel was heartache, Cause I think I missed the rain.
