Maybe someone can help me name this movie from my childhood. I'd like to find the movie so i can watch it again. The hard part is that no one has heard of it and I do not know the name of it. I will try to tell you as much of the plot as i can remember. It starts out where a guy watches a nuclear explosion. The mushroom clowd he saw was bright red. Some time after he discovers that he has developed super human powers. The main one I remember is the ability to run really fast like superman does. The downside is that whenever he sees the color red he loses his powers until the color is out of sight. As you can imagine this makes for an interesting plot. The rest of the movie is fuzzy until the unforgettable end. Somehow the hero gets away from the bad guys and saves the day by blowing a really big bubble out of his gum and riding on it to get away. This is all I remebmer. This was one of my favorites and I'd like for my son to one day watch it. If anyone knows the name of this movie I would be most appreciative. Thanks! FYI this movie was made before 1985. I know this because that is when i moved back to the states.
