Warning......Don't try this at home!

A Californian dairy worker, Pete Sandovich, heard that bovine flatulence was largely composed of methane, and hence potentially explosive. He decided to put the theory to a scientific test. While one of his contented cows was hooked up to the milking machine, he waited for the slight tail lift which gives advance warning of an expulsion. When it happend, our man struck a match. His satisfaction at seeing the resulting foot-long blue flame lasted mere seconds, before the flame was subsumed by a rectal contraction. The poor Holstein exploded, killing the worker who was ulsstruck by a flying femur bone.
